Double U Pictures is a boutique production company with the goal of bringing stories to life that might not otherwise be seen.

Too often, the stories shared about our region are shaped by outside perspectives rather than lived experience. We exist to change that; helping Appalachian businesses, organizations and individuals tell their stories through honest, cinematic filmmaking rooted in culture, community and truth.

By placing local voices behind the lens and at the center of the narrative, we create films that challenge stereotypes and reflect Appalachia with the depth, resilience, and humanity it deserves.
